Slumber Buns Construction Pictures
1. Most layouts are done with all the pieces going in one direction.....but sometimes the fabric really is
non-directional and you are able to nest the pieces.
2. Cutting bias strips scares some people.....but it's easy. You don't even need to use the pattern piece
provided. The child's sizes are 2" wide and the ladies sizes are 2.5" wide. If you are a quilter and have
a rotary cutter and plexi-glass ruler, use that instead. But it must be on the diagonal.
3. These little seams are easy, just line up the diagonal ends with their overlap and stitch them with
1/4" seam. Press them open. NOTE: Since there is more bias than you need available in your trim
fabric......you only need to piece together the ones for the hem. All the pocket ones can just be left
loose.
