Hi Ladies, I know it's been awhile since I wrote, very very busy...just like you all are. I thought I'd show you one of the tops I finished at the quilting retreat...it was started earlier in the year. Am trying to get some of these quilts done so I can start more. My new rule is ...Finish 2 quilts, and then you get to start ONE. Eventually I'll get on top of it all...at least in theory anyway. I was able to finish one more top and get 2 ready to be put together. No I will not tell you how many I have going, are you crazy?

Kids are fine, the oldest just got engaged this last week and the plans are up and rolling. The one in Iraq had 2 casualties 2 weeks ago and he is dealing with that. It was good to talk to him a couple of times. The youngest is learning to play the trumpet...visualize this...11 year old boy with horn overlooking the pasture and blasting away...and all the animals answering back, especially the donkey. Glad we are out in the boondocks. :~} Not much else is new, have a fun week. Katie
