Prairie Rose Night Gown
Something lovely to sleep in ladies…..really comfortable! I was leary of a cotton gown… simply because I was so used to knits and flannel. Then I started thinking about how soft and cozy a quilt gets when you wash it and wah lah……the Prairie Rose Night Gown Pattern was born!
All of the scalloped edges are made with separate facings, so they are easy to do. You can even use contrast and flip them to the front for more style options. This gown is great for the new mom’s who do “night duty”.
There are TWO patterns… the LADIES size pattern and it comes in 5 sizes…..6-8, 10-12, 14-16, 18-20 and 22-24 AND a CHILDS size grouping… 6 sizes….. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 so all the ladies of the house can look special.
Imagine tea and a book in this gown, so pretty! Instructions are clear in this tissue paper pattern. If you have questions, please ask and I’ll do my best to answer.
Mid to light weight cotton works best. I use quilting cotton for mine. The finished length for the ladies is 50″ to 52 1/2″ long. Tea length if you’re average.
