Ruffle Blouse and Skirt Pattern
This Paisley Pincushion pattern is a tissue paper pattern for a blouse and skirt. The skirt is unusual because it only has one seam down the back. Fabric is refolded and cut, skirt is a half circle with a sewn on waist band. Blouse is lined, so it’s easy to do the ruffles. Lace or rickrack can be used also. Pattern is very feminine with emphasis on the waist. I used to sew this skirt up years ago…..mostly because it is smooth over the stomach and very fast to make. Sizes are:
Childs: 2,4,6,8,10, & 12
Ladies 4-6, 8-10, 12-14, 16-18, 20-22.
The two largest sizes need 60″ fabric because of the unique way skirt is cut. I would recommend having a “ruffler” for your sewing machine or serger…..or using pregathered lace.
Please choose childs or ladies size grouping.
