BBQ Sauce

This came from "Backyard Living" magazine and is a contest winner.  Yes, it's sweet….and not so gourmet…but it's the only one my bunch will eat anymore. 

 1 c. ketchup

 1/2 c. brown sugar

 1/3 c. sugar

 1/4 c. honey

 1/4 c. molasses

 2 t. prepared mustard

 1/4 t. salt

 1/4 t. liquid smoke

 1/8 t. pepper

 Mix all in saucepan, stirring often, bring to boil.  Remove from heat, cool.  Stores for a long long time….not to worry though, you'll eat it right up.

A double batch makes 1 quart.

This is how my daughter makes it……when I do it, somehow a tsp. of garlic powder always falls into the pan.
